Quarter Mile Homes is founded on the principle that neighborhoods should be designed around a five-minute walk from center to edge, within a quarter mile radius, with housing and shopping in close proximity and ready access to city transit and public spaces.​

In partnership with Lever Design/Build, and using a goal of zero-net energy, we demonstrate the effectiveness of sustainable design practices in order to limit our footprint and to create healthy and ecological homes and storefronts.​

We recognize a lack of affordable options as a major barrier towards owning a home or running a successful small business.  Our priority is to address that gap through creative innovation in design and building techniques that can provide replicable models of affordable and productive living.
